Very rarely do we publicly announce our own accomplishments but we are very proud of this one. After many years of experience within the field of indigenous rights and culture, we felt confident to show our track record to the local Dutch authorities and ask for a recognized quality seal. Last friday, we received the great news that our request was approved and we are now registered as an ANBI organisation, which also means that any donations made to our charity are tax refundable (if you pay tax in the Netherlands and sometimes in other European countries).
Since our inception in 2016, we’ve been operating as a UK registered non-profit. Since most of the team is now based in the Netherlands, we decided to move our office to Amsterdam in 2019. And earlier this year, we formally registered as a non-profit in the Netherlands. In the meantime, we have worked very hard to update our sponsorship packages, our campaigns and the look and feel of our website in general, by adding interactive elements and illustrations and a clear overview of our targets and mission statement. We hope you like it!
With all these organizational developments happening in 2020, we are very excited to announce our project related plans in the coming months aswel.
